ISK
Isk is the ISO 4217 currency code used to denote the Icelandic króna, the official currency of Iceland. In international finance and trade, amounts in Iceland are quoted in ISK. Locally, the currency is often written with the symbol kr, while in formal financial contexts the code ISK is used to avoid confusion with other currencies.
The Icelandic króna is issued by the Central Bank of Iceland, known in Icelandic as Seðlabanki Íslands.
