IRISUSGS
IRISUSGS is a joint program of the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS) and the United States Geological Survey (USGS) that coordinates seismology data collection, archiving, and rapid dissemination across academic and government seismic networks. The collaboration aims to integrate IRIS's data infrastructure with USGS real-time monitoring and hazard assessment activities, enabling researchers and operational agencies to access diverse seismic datasets through common standards.
Its activities include developing and enforcing data exchange standards, such as SEED and SEEDLink or MiniSEED
Data and services produced under IRISUSGS are made available through IRIS data management facilities and USGS
Governance is provided by a joint steering committee comprising IRIS member institutions and USGS program offices,
