I400

The I400 is a high-performance, all-electric, single-seat, single-engine aircraft designed for advanced flight training, aerobatics, and general aviation. Developed by the American company Aeronautics Corporation, the aircraft was introduced in the late 1990s as part of a series of innovative electric aircraft prototypes.

The I400 features a composite fuselage and wings, incorporating lightweight materials to enhance efficiency and performance. Its electric propulsion system is powered by a high-capacity battery pack and an electric motor, eliminating the need for traditional internal combustion engines. This design reduces operational costs, noise pollution, and carbon emissions compared to conventional aircraft. The I400 is capable of sustained flight durations of approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on battery capacity and flight conditions.

The aircraft is equipped with a T-tail configuration, which improves control characteristics and reduces drag. Its fixed tricycle landing gear allows for straightforward ground handling.
