Höövelmasinad

Höövelmasinad, commonly referred to as planers in English, are woodworking machines designed to smooth and flatten rough surfaces of wood. They achieve this by using a rotating cutting head equipped with blades that shave off thin layers of wood. This process is known as planing.

There are two primary types of höövelmasinad: thickness planers and surface planers (also known as jointers).
