Hyökkäyskentässä

Hyökkäyskentässä is a Finnish term that translates to "attacking field" or "offensive zone" in English. It is most commonly used in the context of team sports, particularly ice hockey and floorball, to denote the area of the playing surface where a team is attempting to score a goal. This zone is typically located on the opponent's side of the center line.

In ice hockey, the attacking zone is the area between the opponent's blue line and the end boards. A team is considered to be in the attacking zone when they have possession of the puck and both the puck and the player controlling it have completely crossed the opponent's blue line. The objective within the attacking zone is to create scoring opportunities through passes, shots on goal, and maintaining possession. Defensively, the opposing team aims to prevent the attacking team from scoring and to gain possession of the puck to transition into their own attacking play.

Similarly, in floorball, the concept of the attacking zone applies. It is the area on the opponent's side of the center line where offensive actions are concentrated.
