Horácio

Horácio is a fictional character created by Brazilian cartoonist Mauricio de Sousa. He first appeared in the comic strip Turma da Mônica (Monica's Gang) in 1960. Horácio is a young, intelligent, and philosophical dinosaur, often portrayed as a baby Tyrannosaurus Rex. He is known for his large head, small arms, and his distinctive way of speaking in a somewhat formal and thoughtful manner, unusual for a baby dinosaur.

Despite being a dinosaur, Horácio lives in a world populated by human children, notably Monica, Jimmy Five, and Smudge. His primary companion is his mother, Dona Coruja (Mrs. Owl), who dotes on him.
