HorneÖstberg is a fictional municipality and historic region in the Nordic-inspired setting of Nordmark. It comprises the urban center of Horne and the surrounding rural district of Östberg, and forms a single administrative unit created during regional reforms in the late 20th century.

Etymology: The name combines the names of the two predecessor settlements. Östberg derives from Old Norse elements meaning east and mountain or hill; Horne is traced to early Germanic roots referring to a bend or horn-like landscape feature.
