Horizontalleitwerk, often abbreviated as HStW, is a crucial component of an aircraft's control surfaces. It is located at the rear of the aircraft, typically forming the horizontal tail assembly. The primary function of the horizontalleitwerk is to provide longitudinal stability and control.
