Horgásztaszkák

Horgásztaszkák, often translated as fishing floats or bobbers, are essential pieces of equipment for many anglers. Their primary function is to suspend bait at a specific depth in the water and to indicate when a fish has taken the bait. When a fish bites, the float will move, dip, or disappear beneath the surface, signaling the angler to set the hook.

These devices come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and materials. Common materials include balsa wood, plastic, and foam. The shape can vary from simple spheres and cylinders to more complex designs like wagglers and pole floats, each suited for different fishing conditions and techniques. Horgásztaszkák are typically attached to the fishing line using a small clip, a rubber sleeve, or by threading the line through a hole in the float's body. The distance between the float and the bait is adjusted by sliding the float up or down the line, allowing the angler to control the presentation of the bait.
