Hiwassee
Hiwassee is a river in the southeastern United States, primarily flowing through the state of Tennessee. It is a tributary of the Tennessee River, which in turn is a tributary of the Ohio River. The Hiwassee River originates in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, near the town of Cosby, Tennessee. It flows generally southeastward, passing through the towns of Cosby, Hiwassee, and Erwin before joining the Tennessee River near the city of Chattanooga.
