Hiszterézisveszteségnek

Hiszterézisveszteségnek refers to the energy loss that occurs in a ferromagnetic material when it is subjected to a cycle of magnetization and demagnetization. This phenomenon is a direct consequence of magnetic hysteresis. When a ferromagnetic material is exposed to a magnetic field, its magnetic domains align with the field. Upon removal of the field, not all domains return to their original random orientation immediately. Some residual magnetism, known as remanence, remains.

As the external magnetic field is reversed, work must be done against the forces that oppose the reorientation of these domains. This work is dissipated as heat within the material. The area enclosed by the hysteresis loop on a graph of magnetic flux density (B) versus magnetic field strength (H) is a measure of this energy loss per unit volume per cycle. Materials with wider hysteresis loops exhibit higher hiszterézisveszteségnek. This energy loss is an important consideration in the design of electrical devices such as transformers, motors, and inductors, where it can reduce efficiency and generate unwanted heat. Minimizing hiszterézisveszteségnek is often a key goal in selecting core materials for these applications. Soft magnetic materials, used in AC applications, are chosen for their narrow hysteresis loops and consequently low energy losses. In contrast, hard magnetic materials, used for permanent magnets, have wide hysteresis loops, indicating high remanence and coercivity, and thus higher energy losses during magnetization cycles.
