Hiszterézisveszteségnek refers to the energy loss that occurs in a ferromagnetic material when it is subjected to a cycle of magnetization and demagnetization. This phenomenon is a direct consequence of magnetic hysteresis. When a ferromagnetic material is exposed to a magnetic field, its magnetic domains align with the field. Upon removal of the field, not all domains return to their original random orientation immediately. Some residual magnetism, known as remanence, remains.
