Historiana

Historiana is a digital platform dedicated to history education. Run by the European Association of History Educators (EUROCLIO), it provides access to a broad array of historical sources, contextual information, and ready-to-use teaching materials to support classroom learning and professional development.

Content includes primary sources from diverse regions and periods, contextual essays, and learning activities that guide students through source analysis, chronology, and historical interpretation. The site organizes materials by themes, periods, and geographies, and offers search and filtering tools, as well as templates for lesson plans and student worksheets.

Audience and use: the platform is intended for teachers, students, and researchers, and is used in schools, teacher training programs, museums, and libraries. It is multilingual and aims to reflect multiple perspectives, enabling educators to present contested histories.
