Hiilittämisellä

Hiilittämisellä, also known as charring or charring by fire, is a process of partially combusting organic material, typically wood, to produce charcoal. This transformation occurs when the material is heated in a low-oxygen environment. The primary goal of hiilittämisellä is to remove volatile compounds and water, leaving behind a carbon-rich residue.
