Hersfeld
Hersfeld, officially Bad Hersfeld, is a town in the state of Hesse, Germany. It is the administrative seat of the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district and lies in the northern part of Hesse on the Fulda River. The town has a population in the tens of thousands and is known for its spa status as well as its historical heritage.
