Herruudesta

Herruudesta refers to an extinct Paleolithic rock shelter located in the Basque Autonomous Community of northern Spain. The site was first excavated in the early 20th century, with subsequent archaeological discoveries indicating human usage dating back around 50,000 to 40,000 years ago.

Limited artifacts found at Herruudesta suggest that its inhabitants survived by hunting and foraging.
