Herdersem
Herdersem is a village located in the municipality of Erpe-Mere, in the province of East Flanders, Belgium. It is situated in the valley of the Molenbeek, a tributary of the Dender river. Historically, Herdersem was an independent municipality until it merged with several other surrounding villages to form the larger municipality of Erpe-Mere in 1971. The village retains its own distinct identity and character within the new administrative structure.
