Hennesee
Hennesee is a reservoir located in the Sauerland region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It was created by the damming of the Hennesee river, a tributary of the Ruhr. The primary purpose of the Hennesee is flood control and water supply for the surrounding areas. Construction of the dam began in 1947 and was completed in 1952.
