Heilbronn

Heilbronn is a city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, located on the Neckar River. It is situated in the Heilbronn-Franken region and is the seventh-largest city in Baden-Württemberg. The city is known for its wine-growing tradition and its industrial heritage.

Historically, Heilbronn was a free imperial city within the Holy Roman Empire. It suffered significant damage during World War II, particularly from bombing raids in 1944, which destroyed much of its historic center. Post-war reconstruction has blended modern architecture with restored historical elements.
