Hectoliters

Hectoliter (symbol hL) is a metric unit of volume equal to 100 liters. It is a non-SI unit that is accepted for use with the International System of Units (SI). In cubic meters, 1 hL equals 0.1 m^3.

Conversions and terminology: 1 hL = 100 L; 1 L = 0.01 hL. Since 1 cubic meter is 1000 liters, 1 m^3 equals 10 hL. The prefix 'hecto-' denotes a factor of 100, so a hectoliter is 100 liters.
