Hatsukaichi is a city located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. It is situated on the Seto Inland Sea, approximately 20 kilometers south of Hiroshima City. The city was established on April 1, 2004, through the merger of the former town of Hatsukaichi and the village of Kure.
