Harrowholds is a town and civil parish in the Northcrest region of Eldoria. Located on the River Lorn, it serves as a local market center for surrounding villages. The parish population is about 8,900. The town preserves historic architecture while functioning as a modern service hub.

The name Harrowholds likely derives from Old English, describing a hilltop defensive site. A hillfort near the town dates from the early medieval period; a stone keep was built in the 12th century, spurring growth through trade and market rights. The town was damaged by fire in the late 14th century and rebuilt in stone, with later fortifications altered after the Civil Wars.

Harrowholds sits on rolling terrain with farmland to the east and woods to the west. Historically tied to textiles, the economy now includes light manufacturing, logistics, and services. The weekly market remains central, and a small industrial park lies on the outskirts.

The town council handles local planning, parks, and facilities and is part of the Northcrest District. Public amenities include a library, a secondary school, a primary school, and a community center.
