Harrahs
Harrah's is a brand of casino hotels operated by Caesars Entertainment. The brand traces its origins to William F. Harrah, who opened a small gaming room in Reno, Nevada in 1937 and built it into a broader chain of Harrah's-branded properties focusing on gaming, hospitality, and entertainment. Through the latter half of the 20th century, the company expanded via acquisitions and new developments, becoming one of the largest casino operators in the United States. In 2010 the parent company, then Harrah’s Entertainment, renamed itself Caesars Entertainment Corporation, continuing to use the Harrah’s brand for its properties. After undergoing bankruptcy reorganization in the 2010s, Caesars restructured while maintaining Harrah’s as a major brand within its portfolio. In 2020, Caesars Entertainment completed a merger with Eldorado Resorts, forming the present Caesars Entertainment, which continues to operate Harrah’s-branded hotels and casinos.
Harrah's properties are located in multiple states, including Nevada (for example Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Las Vegas-area
