Handsharpening

Handsharpening is the process of restoring a sharp edge to a tool or blade using abrasive materials. This traditional method relies on human skill and a variety of sharpening implements, such as whetstones, honing steels, or strops. The goal is to remove metal from the edge in a controlled manner, creating a fine apex that can cut effectively.
