Halogeenalküül
Halogeenalküül refers to an organic compound where one or more hydrogen atoms on an alkane chain have been replaced by halogen atoms. Halogens are elements from Group 17 of the periodic table, including fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), and iodine (I). When a halogen atom is bonded to a carbon atom that is part of an alkyl group, the resulting functional group is known as a haloalkyl group.
