Hakukomennolla refers to a Finnish term that combines the words "hakemus" (application) and "komennolla" (on assignment or deployment), commonly used in the context of military or public service recruitment. It specifically describes the process by which individuals are selected and assigned to serve in the Finnish Defence Forces (Puolustusvoimat) or other public service roles, such as the Border Guard (Rajavartiolaitos) or the Prison Service (Vankilavirasto).

The term is often associated with the Finnish Defence Forces' annual recruitment campaigns, where eligible individuals are invited to apply for voluntary military service.
