Hajógyárisziget, often referred to as Óbudai-sziget, is a Danube island located in Budapest, Hungary. It is the largest island in the Budapest section of the Danube and is situated in the northern part of the city, north of Margaret Island. Historically, the island was an industrial area, most notably home to the Óbuda Shipyard, which gave the island its name. The shipyard was a significant employer and a vital part of Budapest's industrial heritage.
