Haigusregistreid

Haigusregistreid is a rare neurological disorder characterized by rapid, involuntary movements of the mouth and jaw that resemble chewing or sucking motions. These movements are often bilateral, meaning they affect both sides of the face, and can be accompanied by tongue movements and lip gestures.

The condition is named after the Norwegian physician Ragnar Haigus who first described it in the early 20th century. It is also known as Haigus syndrome or Haigus disease.
