Häälikuorganid, also known as vocal organs, are the anatomical structures responsible for the production of sound in humans and other animals. The vocal cords are not the only vocal organs in the human body. The pharynx, or throat, also plays a role in sound production. The pharynx is a muscular tube that connects the mouth and nose to the larynx and esophagus. The pharynx can vibrate and resonate, contributing to the quality of the voice.

The vocal organs are essential for communication, allowing humans to express themselves through speech, singing, and other forms of vocalization. They are also important for social interactions and emotional expression.
