Guipúzcoa

Guipúzcoa is a province in the Basque Country, a comunidad autónoma in northern Spain. It is bordered by the Bay of Biscay to the north, France to the east, Navarre to the southeast, Álava to the southwest, and Biscay to the west. The capital and largest city of Guipúzcoa is San Sebastián, also known as Donostia in Basque. The province has a population of over 720,000 people and a land area of approximately 1,980 square kilometers.

The geography of Guipúzcoa is characterized by a rugged coastline and mountainous interior.
