Biscay
The Bay of Biscay is a gulf of the Atlantic Ocean located off the northern coast of Spain and the western coast of France. It opens toward the Atlantic and is bordered to the south by the Cantabrian and Basque coasts of Spain and to the north by the French Atlantic coast. The name Biscay is the English form of the Basque name Vizcaya (Biscaya), and it also lends its name to the Basque Province of Biscay (Vizcaya) in northern Spain.
