Guaymas

Guaymas is a city and port in the state of Sonora, Mexico. It is the municipal seat of Guaymas Municipality and lies on the southern shore of the Gulf of California. The port serves as a regional economic center and supports a large fishing industry, tuna and shrimp processing, and general maritime trade. It also provides ferry and cargo services to coastal communities.
