Grynia is a small district situated in the southern part of Jastrzębie-Zdrój, a city in the Silesian Voivodeship of Poland. The area lies within the larger municipality of Jastrzębie-Zdrój and is bordered by the industrial zone to the north and the residential neighborhoods of Masty and Raniaty to the south. The name is thought to derive from a local Silesian dialect word meaning “rock" or “crag", reflecting the terrain’s basalt formations.
