Grundig

Grundig is a German consumer electronics brand with roots in the postwar era. It was founded in 1945 by Max Grundig in Fürth, near Nuremberg, initially as a radio repair shop that began producing radio receivers for a broader market. The company soon diversified into television sets, audio equipment, and later a wider range of household electronics, expanding its sales networks across Europe and beyond. By the 1960s and 1970s Grundig had grown into a major European manufacturer, known for its emphasis on consumer-focused design and engineering.
