Gravitaatiolähteinä refers to the sources of gravity in physics. Therefore, any object possessing mass or energy acts as a gravitational source.

The most familiar gravitational source is the Earth, which keeps us anchored to the surface and governs the motion of the Moon. Beyond ordinary matter, energy also contributes to gravity. For instance, electromagnetic radiation, though massless, carries energy and therefore warps spacetime. The concept of dark matter, a hypothetical form of matter that does not interact with light, is invoked to explain gravitational effects observed in galaxies and galaxy clusters that cannot be accounted for by visible matter alone. Similarly, dark energy is a mysterious form of energy thought to be responsible for the accelerating expansion of the universe, implying it also acts as a gravitational source, albeit with a repulsive effect on cosmological scales.
