Grafitisaatiolla, also known as graphitization, is a process where amorphous carbon or poorly crystalline carbon materials are transformed into graphite. This transformation typically occurs at high temperatures, often exceeding 2000 degrees Celsius, and can be influenced by pressure and the presence of certain catalysts. During graphitization, the carbon atoms rearrange themselves into a more ordered, layered structure characteristic of graphite.
