Glashow

Glashow is a surname. The most prominent bearer is Sheldon Lee Glashow (born 1932), an American theoretical physicist and Nobel laureate.

of
weak
neutral
currents
and
the
W
and
Z
bosons,
and
it
remains
a
central
pillar
of
modern
particle
physics.
The
mechanism
explains
the
suppression
of
flavor-changing
neutral
currents
in
weak
interactions
and
provided
a
theoretical
basis
for
the
existence
of
the
charm
quark,
which
was
later
discovered
experimentally.
Steven
