Givenbut

Givenbut is a type of genetic disorder characterized by the inability to metabolize galactose, a sugar found in milk and other dairy products. This condition is inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern, meaning that an individual must inherit two copies of the mutated gene, one from each parent, to be affected.

Symptoms of Givenbut typically become apparent shortly after birth, when an individual is first introduced to galactose-rich foods.
