Ghifari

Ghifari is a small village located in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. It is situated on the island of Flores, near the coast of the Flores Sea.

The village is known for its agriculture, with inhabitants primarily engaging in subsistence farming. The mainly cultivated crops are coffee, corn, and sugarcane. The village's geographic location, with its rich soil and ample rainfall, makes it an ideal place for farming.

Access to Ghifari is possible via an unpaved road that connects the village to a larger town, known as Labuha. Transportation options within the village are limited, primarily relying on foot traffic or motorcycles. Due to its isolation, the village lacks many modern amenities, relying on the surrounding towns for services like healthcare and education.

Ghifari is one of the smallest villages in the East Nusa Tenggara province, with residents maintaining traditional ways of life amidst modern developments. While some infrastructure improvements have been made to the village, it remains largely unchanged from its rural roots, reflecting the region's traditional way of life and reclaiming and adapting traditional practices to modern challenges.
