Georgievsk
Georgievsk is a city in Stavropol Krai, Russia. It is located in the North Caucasus region, approximately 230 kilometers east of Stavropol, the administrative center of the krai. The city lies on the Yuzhak River, a tributary of the Kuma River. Georgievsk is one of the oldest cities in the Stavropol region, founded in 1773 as a fortress. It was granted city status in 1786.
