Fussball
Fussball, or Fußball in German, is a team sport played by two teams of 11 players on a rectangular pitch with a spherical ball. The objective is to score goals by getting the ball into the opponent's net; players except goalkeepers may not intentionally handle the ball within the field of play. The goalkeeper is the only player allowed to handle the ball within the penalty area. The match is divided into two halves, typically 45 minutes each, with stoppage time.
