Fullformatstørrelse refers to a specific sensor size in digital cameras, corresponding to the dimensions of a 35mm film frame. This size is approximately 36mm by 24mm. Cameras equipped with full-frame sensors are often considered professional-grade due to several advantages they offer over smaller sensor formats.

The primary benefit of a full-frame sensor is its superior light-gathering capability. Larger pixels on a full-frame sensor can capture more light, resulting in better image quality, particularly in low-light conditions.
