Frisians
Frisians are an ethnolinguistic group native to the coastal regions along the North Sea, traditionally inhabiting parts of the Netherlands and Germany, with historical presence in Denmark. Today they are concentrated in Friesland (Fryslân) in the Netherlands and in the German states of East Frisia (Ostfriesland) and North Frisia (Nordfriesland), with smaller communities elsewhere and a global diaspora.
