Fraubrunnen

Fraubrunnen is a municipality in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is located in the Bernese Mittelland region, west of the city of Bern. The municipality is situated along the river Emme and is known for its agricultural landscape. The name Fraubrunnen is believed to derive from the Middle High German words "vrouwe" meaning lady or noblewoman and "brunne" meaning well or spring, possibly indicating a well once associated with a noblewoman.
