Fotorealistlike is an adjective used to describe artworks or images that imitate the appearance of photographs or the photorealism style. The term is derived from photorealism, an art movement from the 1960s and 1970s in which painters like Richard Estes and Ralph Goings reproduced photographs with meticulous technical precision. In contemporary usage, fotorealistlike can apply to traditional painting as well as digital media, including 3D rendering, CGI, and photo-editing-based compositions.

Key features include precise depiction of light and shadow, accurate color and tone, faithful texture reproduction (skin, metal, glass), sharp focus on the subject, and a convincing sense of depth. Works may rely on photographic references or be generated through computational means to achieve photorealistic results. Artists and designers may use photorealistic techniques to create visual appeals in advertising, product visualization, film concept art, or architectural visualization.

Differences from the broader photorealism: fotorealistlike emphasizes the resemblance to a photograph rather than the historical movement; it is a descriptive label for the result rather than a defined school. It is often used in critiques of digital images to indicate high fidelity to real-world appearance, sometimes at the expense of expressive or abstract content.
