Forstøvning

Forstøvning is a term used in Danish to describe the process of atomization or nebulization. It refers to the transformation of a liquid into a fine spray or mist. This can occur through various physical mechanisms. One common method is mechanical atomization, where a liquid is forced through a narrow opening or by a high-speed fluid, causing it to break apart into small droplets. Another method is ultrasonic atomization, which uses high-frequency vibrations to create a fine mist. Heat can also be used to induce forstøvning, a process known as thermal atomization, where the liquid is vaporized and then condenses into tiny droplets.
