Forstærkningsniveau, often translated as amplification level or gain, refers to the extent to which a signal is increased in amplitude by an electronic device. It is a fundamental concept in electronics and signal processing, crucial for understanding how signals are manipulated. In simple terms, a higher forstærkningsniveau means the output signal is a scaled-up version of the input signal. This scaling factor is typically expressed as a ratio or in decibels (dB).
