ForeBalkan

ForeBalkan is a mountain range located in western Serbia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is part of the eastern extent of the Dinaric Alps range and forms a distinct geographic and geomorphological unit. The range stretches for approximately 40 kilometers, from the Gradac region in western Serbia to the Tara Mountains near the town of Soko Banja.

Geologically, ForeBalkan is composed primarily of limestone and dolomite rocks that have been shaped by tectonic forces and erosion. The range is characterized by its rugged terrain, steep slopes, and scenic valleys. The average elevation of ForeBalkan is around 900 meters, with the highest peak reaching approximately 1,430 meters above sea level.
