Fordham
Fordham may refer to several related places and institutions in New York City. The most prominent is Fordham University, a private Jesuit research university with campuses in the Bronx’s Rose Hill neighborhood and in Manhattan’s Lincoln Center. Founded in 1841 as St. John’s College, the institution adopted the Fordham name after relocating to the Fordham area in the mid-19th century. Fordham University offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs across multiple schools, including the College of Arts and Sciences, the Gabelli School of Business, and the Fordham School of Law.
