Fodboldsoccer

Fodboldsoccer is a popular team sport played with a ball between two teams of eleven players. The game is played on a rectangular field called a pitch, with a goal at each end. The objective of the game is to score by getting the ball into the opposing goal. Players primarily use their feet to kick the ball, but can also use their head, torso, and other legal body parts. The goalkeeper is the only player allowed to use their hands and arms to handle the ball, and only within their own penalty area.

The game is divided into two halves of 45 minutes each, with a 15-minute halftime interval. The team that scores more goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is tied, the game may end in a draw, or go into extra time and/or a penalty shootout, depending on the competition rules. Fodboldsoccer is governed internationally by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). The sport is played by over 250 million players in more than 200 countries, making it the world's most popular sport.
