Fodboldsoccer is a popular team sport played with a ball between two teams of eleven players. The game is played on a rectangular field called a pitch, with a goal at each end. The objective of the game is to score by getting the ball into the opposing goal. Players primarily use their feet to kick the ball, but can also use their head, torso, and other legal body parts. The goalkeeper is the only player allowed to use their hands and arms to handle the ball, and only within their own penalty area.
