Filipiinlased refers to the people of the Philippines and also encompasses individuals of Filipino heritage living abroad. The Philippines is an archipelago nation in Southeast Asia composed of over 7,000 islands. Its population is characterized by a rich diversity of ethnic groups, each with distinct languages and cultural traditions. The most prominent ethnic groups include Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Hiligaynon, and Bikolano.
